Our Story
Established in 1965, DeJohn’s Italian Spaghetti House has been a local favorite Of downtown Fredonia for decades and it’s all thanks to Mama Mary DeJohn’s signature homemade secret recipe sauce and Italian dishes.

Coming to the U.S. from Italy in the early 1900s Mary’s parents brought very little with them- the one thing they did not leave behind were their recipes that they shared with their children.
Frank DeJohn, the original owner, is the son of Mary; he, along with his wife Shirley ran the business until 2009. Shirley in turn, taught the recipes to their daughter Lisa and when Frank and Shirley retired, Lisa and her husband Randy purchased the business.
They continue to operate the restaurant as it always has been serving not only the classic family recipes, but also regional and American favorite.
